EDITORIAL: Let us look forward to 2021, but not waste the last moments of 2020.

For many of us, the year 2020 has been a total wash. Thank you China, for you wasting the lives of millions around the world and costing the lives of countless thousands of people who had to endure sickness, death and misery if  the government of China was a little more honest about the details about the coronavirus. What a world leader you are.

Be that as it may, let us not waste what is left of 2020. There were some successes and triumphs in your life if you really look down and see how much God the Almighty has done for the survivors of this coronavirus pandemic.

However, we cannot have a tomorrow or next year without preparing for today and the troubles therein. There is a lot that can be done today that can change your future. Do not waste it.

As I review the news from around the Caribbean and Central American area, I am seeing that everyone is just trying to cope. There are openings for new hotels, re-openings for existing properties, people selling their goods and trinkets and even hope for yearly festivals are still good. At least some of us have decided that no matter what, let us deal with our problems for what it is so we can have a better and brighter tomorrow.

To this I say on this 25th day of December, 2020 is to please be hopeful and be grateful that it was not as bad as it could have been. Aside from that have a very merry Christmas.

Spread the love
