EDITORIAL: CMP Short Story Contest came to an end

February 27, 2024

The Caribbean Magazine Plus third Short Story contest has come to an end. We didn’t field a great deal of entries at all. We didn’t put the emphasis into the marketing. We are just now refining what really works. We find that the Facebook ads, while flashy, are a useless waste of ad dollars. They don’t convert to sales, or even clicks.

We will have to tone down the Facebook ads and put that somewhere else.

We are thankful for the entries we did receive. We wish them all the best. We will wait for our Poetry Contest to come back around again. We also will do the TropicSpin Music and Song competition again too.

Stay tuned.

Spread the love

  1. Mr. Kemp, good morning. Great effort to promote the short story contest. I wish you the greatest success with your new strategy to implement. Perhaps the Caribbean needs to integrate with the Americas. In any case, my wishes to you and CMP and its parent company ARAWAK MEDIA are many successes. It is an open door for emerging writers to take off. May God fill you with blessings. Greetings.
