An up and coming Trinidadian recording artist is set to drop a music video this weekend behind her second single “Breathe,” with an Extended Play (EP) set for the end of the year.

Tylah Ariel, told Caribbean Magazine Plus that she is making this music video in attempts to enter the Arawak Media TropicSpin Music and Song competition this July 23 and she can’t wait to put her music against others in the region.

Tylah also said: “It should be done by the end of the week, hopefully. The song’s name is Breathe.

“The song is like releasing pain, so sometimes we just need to breathe and that’s why I called it Breathe.”

Tylah, who lives in Florida now, said that Breathe is already getting significant play in South Florida so it was only natural to put a music video to it.

She also said: “It’s played in Florida, there is a radio station called Streaminn Hub radio that I did an interview with in January and there’s also a radio station in New York.”

Tylah also said that she is not a Soca or Calypso artist, but considers herself an infusion of an R&B and Alternative style.

She has been recording music since 2018 and Breathe follows her first single, “Misery,” which she released nearly two years ago. “I think so far Breathe has a bigger response than Misery, but it always hard to tell because you never really know.”

Building on this success an EP is in the making for the end of this year as well, but for the time being Tylah is just making more music and staying in the studio between travelling.

You can find more about Tylah on her Facebook Page, as well as find more of her music on the Amuse.io playlist on Spotify.
