I guess everyone has now heard or saw that the United States came under attack from terrorists within, just that this time added to it was the president of the United States, Donald Trump, spurring on the attack.
The protests of January 6 in the capitol of the US, Washington DC, was not a protest. No it was not. It was an angry mob wanting to take the capitol and the legislators stalled up in it out.
All of the folks on the left blamed Trump. They said they all saw it coming, he egged them on, and this and the next. However, I saw it coming too and it was not because of Trump or right wing crazies. But I remember not too long ago a leftist mob took the city of Seattle in the other Washington, this time Washington State on the West Coast over the police killing of George Floyd and how protestors barricaded themselves inside a zone they called the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) and allowed no one in or out.
You see? America has too many angry people. White and Black and Hispanic. The system they feel is unfair. Whether it is police killing unarmed black men, or white men losing jobs to Hispanics and Black people or Hispanics feeling as if they are not a part of a country they are currently building. Whatever the case is, no one is satisfied.
So since no one is satisfied, the dominant society in that of White men and women took it upon themselves to make the radical changes they feel are necessary for a better society for them.
Regardless of how you look at it, there is no difference, aside from the geography of the Seattle CHAZ or the DC storm. They are quite similar. Just that this time the mob of January 6 was for the guy that was voted out of office and the mob on July 1, 2020 was against the sitting president who is now on his way out. Same thuggery, the American way it is appearing to become.
No one really is to blame but the spirits of inequity, confusion, unfairness and abuse. Until America fixes that at its heart, storming government buildings will become the norm.
We hope that they have a heart check soon, because the world needs America!
