EDITORIAL: How can we live without banking?

September 16, 2022

How cruel can the larger countries be to us in the Caribbean? They are intent on shutting off our access to finance by putting blockages to correspondent banks in the region. How do they expect us to live if we can’t have money and trade? How wicked is this?

What do they want us to do? Become drug traffickers and find money the best way we can? I don’t think the larger, developed countries have thought this through properly. Especially now with the emergence of cryptocurrencies, there is coming a time where no country would need fiat currency.

And what are they doing this for? They are doing it because they are chasing their own companies around the world for tax avoidance, so they want to mash us down for people they cannot control or police themselves.

The United States and United Kingdom, have let this charade from Europe go on long enough. They need to put a full stop to this “global” *rolls eyes* move for shutting down correspondent banking for the Caribbean. It is an idle, silly attempt to make matters worse in the end of it all.

If American politicians are in favour of it, then we need true conservative, right wingers to stand up and fight this tooth and nail because it will only hurt America in the long run.

I have noticed, however, that there is no lead face in this global de-risking charade that is causing the seizure of the correspondent banking. There is no face and no lead agency willing to stand out in front of the pack, which reeks of wickedness.
