So it took the gangster, Barbecue, to put the final ultimatum to Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry to resign his post. What a time to be alive? What now? Does Barbecue want to run for president or serve in the new cabinet? The way the world is turning, he may end up being the best thing Haiti ever had if they were to give him a chance. I am just kidding, here?
But, thank God Henry is leaving. He was an abject failure. The country has descended into utter and complete chaos. He installed to prevent that until new elections were called. Well, so much for that.
Now Haitians of today understand that assassinating your leadership can end up with even worse consequences than you would have experienced with them being there.
Should have left Jovenel Moïse to serve out his term, regardless of how much some may have hated him. Because what you have now is eternal hell where no one is safe and no one can do business. This is not what anyone in love with Haiti wanted.
But, these small steps, like getting rid of Henry, is a positive move in the right direction to setting a workable government back in place in Haiti.
