2 Cloves Fresh Garlic – Minced

1 1/2 tbsp. Season-Salt

1 tsp. Garlic Powder

1/4 tsp. Habanero Pepper

Directions:

(1).  Drain and rinse black beans.

(2).  Place beans, oats, onions, green peppers, one tbsp of water and the habanero pepper in a magic bullet or blender and chop until a paste is formed.

(3).  Remove mixture from the blender and place in a medium bowl.  Add breadcrumbs, fresh garlic, garlic powder and season-salt.

(4). Mix until ingredients are combined.  If mixture is falling off the back of your spoon…add more breadcrumbs.

(5).  Place a quarter cup of the mixture onto a heated griddle.

(6).  Cook for three minutes on each side or until burgers are browned.

(7).  Grill onions and toast the bread.

(8).  Place cheese on top of the burger and cover until cheese has melted.

(9).  Add a generous amount of bacon ranch dressing on each slice of bread, followed by mustard.  Add spinach, the burger and grilled onions.

Pair with your favourite fruit or sweet potato wedges and as always:

ENJOY!!
