We are wondering if the Nobel Institute based on Norwy feels sleighted that they gave their Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado, only for her to praise US president Donald Trump and say that he is the one who truly deserves it?
They must feel stupid. Not just for her essentially throwing the prize away, figuratively. But awarding a man who the Nobel institute, most likely, loathes with a passion. How God works in mysterious ways?
Truth be told, Trump probably does deserve the award based on their own criteria in any event. But they would have never awarded it to him, just because of what he represents politically.
But, the record reflects his achievements over the past year in his second, non consecutive term has been nothing short of amazing. He has ended conflicts from Africa to Europe and he is not done yet.
We hope that his method of getting things done will lead to a global transformation in leadership because a global reset is what is needed.
The only drawback to Trump is his unbelief in climate issues. The record is against him on this as climate change impacted countries can attest to the devastation of carbon emissions.
But, other than that Trump has been performing fairly well.
