Making transparency work requires tangible engagements and an agenda that guides them.
For the Executive Director of Transparency Envisions Ron Mobley, promoting the social and emotional needs of young people in Brooklyn, that leads to a positive future is central in establishing actionable transparency.
As a non-profit organization, the mission of Transparency Envisions is molded on the premise of providing lifelong learning, through arts education, advancing knowledge, and strengthening the community of Brooklyn and other boroughs in New York.
This means that transparency isn’t just about shining a light on what is present in the moment, but that, transparency is also a shared sense of purpose.
In fostering collaboration among young people, executive director of Transparency Envisions, Ron Mobley further contends, that transparency is also actioned through the lens of trust and empowerment. In this regard, youths are provided with resources that increase their knowledge of coping strategies during high stressful situations. By having credible transparent foundations, young minds are also prepared through dance art, as a means of encouraging the use of exercise and movement as a therapeutic strategy. Vocational training mentorship programs and financial literacy, career days, and health and wellness activities also instill personal self growth tactics that are utilised across a lifespan.
Transparency Envisions commitment to arts education supports personal development, and connects to the development of future dance leaders. Through structured group classes in a family like atmosphere, that encourage both skill development and personal growth, young people feel supported in dance education, that allow them to grow, express themselves, develop their artistry, and enrich their lives.
Transparency Envisions provides a sense of stability, connection and self empowerment for youths and their families, for some of which access to such programs and resources are limited or otherwise. At the same time, Transparency Envisions welcomes diverse backgrounds and experiences, as they reach out to Queens and other boroughs in New York, in continuing their mission of fostering collaboration and growth among young people of all identities.
