JUN 18, 2026 YEAR 7:DAY 098
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:5-6
CPWI 219 God Is Love: Let Heav’n Adore Him
1 God is Love: let heav’n adore him;
God is Love: let earth rejoice;
let creation sing before him,
and exalt him with one voice.
He who laid the earth’s foundation,
he who spread the heav’ns above,
he who breathes through all creation, He is Love, eternal Love.
2 God is Love: and he enfoldeth
all the world in one embrace;
with unfailing grasp he holdeth
every child of every race.
And when human hearts are breaking
under sorrow’s iron rod,
then they find that selfsame aching
deep within the heart of God
.
3 God is Love: and though with blindness
sin afflicts the souls of all,
God’s eternal loving-kindness
holds and guides us when we fall.
Sin and death and hell shall never
o’er us final triumph gain;
God is Love, so Love for ever
o’er the universe must reign
Blessed be the Lord our God
By whose grace we are yet alive.
Blessed be His Son Jesus Christ
By whose rising we are set free.
Blessed the Spirit of God
In whom is our hope and our joy.
Eternal God and Father, by whose power we are created and by whose love we are redeemed: Guide and strengthen us by your Spirit, that we may give ourselves to your service, and live this day in love for You and one another; through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.
PSALM 85:7-13
7 Show us your mercy, O Lord, and grant us your salvation.
8 I will listen to what the Lord God is saying,
for he is speaking peace to his faithful people
and to those who turn their hearts to him.
9 Truly, his salvation is very near to those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth have met together;
righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring up from the earth,
and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 The Lord will indeed grant prosperity,
and our land will yield its increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him,
and peace shall be a pathway for his feet.

A READING: 1 John 4:7-12
7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is perfected in us.
The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to GOD.
[…that through your grace we may proclaim your truth with boldness,…
The essential truth of the Scriptures and the New Testament in particular is this: God is love ! We see and experience this love in the life and death of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We saw the anticipation of grace and redemption brought to us by the prophets of old, and we hear the confident proclamation from the apostles and evangelists. The message and the promise is clear We need only respond by faith to enjoy the benefits of the kingdom the benefits of the household of faith.
‘
…Truly, his salvation is very near to those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth have met together…]
THE PRAYERS:
The Lord be with you
And also with you.
As our Saviour has taught us, let us pray
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
V. Save your people, Lord, and bless your inheritance;
R. Govern and uphold them, now and always.
V. Day by day we bless you;
R. We praise your Name for ever.
V. Lord, keep us from all sin today;
R. Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy.
V. Lord, show us your love and mercy;
R. For we put our trust in you.
V. In you, Lord, is our hope;
R. And we shall never hope in vain.
COLLECT Proper VI
Keep, O Lord, your household the Church in your steadfast faith and love, that through your grace we may proclaim your truth with boldness, and minister your justice with compassion; for the sake of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Heavenly Father, in you we live and move and have our being: We humbly pray you so to guide and govern us by your Holy Spirit, that in all the cares and challenges of the day, we may not forget you. Grant that within the boundaries set for us, we may find mutual benefit and true fellowship, and that as we act sensibly and sensitively one with another, we may experience full health and wholeness as you intend; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Yes Lord yes! To your will and to your way.
Yes Lord yes! I will answer and obey
When your spirit speaks to me,
with my whole heart I’ll agree
and my answer will be Yes Lord. Yes!
The Dismissal:
May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Romans 15:13
The Lord be with you
And also with you.
Let us bless the Lord.
Thanks be to God.
