Father’s Day is this Sunday. For years, it has been an afterthought to celebrate Father’s Day. Yes, we understand that the Mother carries the children and that they are most attached to each other. That’s fine.
But, had it not been for your father, you would not be here. They are givers of life. They provide and protect. Celebrate the Father figure in your life.
Many of us did not grow up with a male figure in their lives. Understand your blessing over a great many people.
Give your Father more than just a necktie and some socks. Show some real appreciation. It may not even have to be in terms of anything with monetary value, it could be just spending some extra time or telling them you love and appreciate them.
