On Thursday, November 2, the premiere of the poetry performance ‘Dance Towards The Dawn’ by poet/writer Wilco Harbers took place at Terramar Museum on Bonaire (Dutch Caribbean) amid great interest. Following the loss of his loved one in December 2021, Harbers wrote the poetry collection ‘Dance Towards The Dawn’, which was published in January 2023. In this intimate and sparkling performance of the same name, Harbers tells the story of this loss and breathlessly takes his audience on his journey from grief, fear and loss to love, comfort and happiness.
After the performance, the audience gave Wilco a thunderous applause. The rendition of the poems made a great impression on everyone present.
