October is looking good for brand Jenelle Alexia and A’Legends

September 1, 2026

Jenelle Alexia is looking forward to October as she gears up for an awards show in Pennsylvania and a fashion and film festival in Delaware within a week of each other at the beginning of the month. Fresh off hosting the red carpet for the second consecutive year at the Rediscover Africa 2026 event in June and winning the Diaspora Excellence Award in September 2025, the A’Legends CEO is no stranger to pressure and will therefore attack both events head on with the style, flair and grace she is known to emanate throughout her prestigious career.

Nominated for the Fashion Trailblazer Award at the 5th staging of the Inna Starz Awards Show being held in Allentown, Pennsylvania on October 3rd, Jenelle Alexia is a finalist and a formidable contender in the category, though it’s her first year attending and being nominated.

The 2nd Annual Caribbean Film & Fashion Festival on October 10th in Delaware will also have Jenelle Alexia attending for the first time where she’ll not only be a presenter but also a nominee for an award for the Jamaican movie Unbelievable she costarred in alongside the legendary dancehall icon Spragga Benz. It’s the second year straight that Unbelievable is nominated, having won it last year in the show’s first installment. Jenelle Alexia will be showcasing her exciting new line of A’Legends clothing at the event as well.

I’ve never wanted to be defined by just one title,” says Alexia. “Fashion, film, music, publishing and philanthropy are all different expressions of my purpose. I believe God gives us gifts to grow, create and make an impact.”

Jenelle Alexia is also living up to her philanthropic deeds as she continues to feed the homeless through Shana’s Caribbean Cafe in her hometown of Philadelphia. Shana is sister to dancehall artist Flippa Moggela, and recently opened a second location for her restaurant in which Alexia is currently managing. Together, they have been feeding the homeless since 2023 through collaborative efforts between the restaurant and Jenelle Alexia’s charitable organization, the A’Legends Helping Hands Foundation.
