Operation Eclipse was done so silently in the Caribbean waters that it captured $54.4 million in illicit narcotics in under three months, which really is a drop in the bucket to what most likely is trafficked through the Caribbean into the US and Europe.
But the operation was done and no one knew it was going on and for such a considerable amount of time. How many more clandestine operations are happening in the Caribbean that no one knows is going on?
All we can say from the reports is that the Donald Trump administration is cleaning up the Caribbean waters from drug trafficking. It started with the bombing of Venezuelan boats suspected of drug smuggling to now the silent surveillance operations that is netting consequential illicit narcotics.
Cleaning up the Caribbean waters has been a long time coming. No more can we or should we be blamed for the drug habit of Americans and Europeans.
