Temperatures are reaching unprecedented highs this year. Everyone is feeling the heat.
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has confirmed that 2025 was one of the three warmest years on record, continuing the streak of extraordinary global temperatures. The past 11 years have been the 11 warmest on record, and ocean heating continues unabated.
Last year started and ended with a cooling La Niña weather phenomenon and it was still one of the warmest on records.
This year had none of that and it feels like an oven outside. We are being cooked alive. And it is not a pretty sight.
May we have mercy for the elderly and weak among us that don’t have the ability to find shade and cooling areas like the strong of us.
This is the bi-product of climate change events. May we be careful in this season.
