I have to admit, I am a little curious with what’s happening between Iran, the US and Israel and this supposed ceasefire.
US President Donald Trump said that there will be a ceasefire in Iran, the Iranians and the Israeli’s seem to not get the message as there is still blockages in the Strait of Hormuz and sending missiles to the United Arad Emirates and Israel is still attacking Lebanon- which is seen as an Iranian proxy state.
So, how much of a ceasefire is this? It seems as if the fighting is only continuing.
But now what is the endgame? I think the US has gotten what it said it wanted out of the Iran war in that they crippled the Iranian state in the process of advancing their nuclear weapon ambitions.
But, Israel, seems to have another objective. They seem to want to obliterate Iran off of the face of the map, which is only par for the course considering Iran wants to do the same to Israel. So their fight will never end and certainly not come to an end with a minor ceasefire.
We will have to wait and see how this all plays out. But this is no ceasefire. If it is, someone should inform the Israelis and Iranians.
