Reports from the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank are signalling that the economies of the region are getting better, notwithstanding some headwinds ahead.
Tourism growth will be steady and will drive this growth, however. This is good news to know that the core economic model of the region will be strong, but it is a bad sign that there is nothing else on the horizon for us to look forward to other than for Guyana with their oil boom.
But, the little boost in economic prospects will bode well for the citizenry of this region. We need more. We welcome the good prospects going forward.
