The earthquake that hit Colombia on Monday has left the country in a state of shock and awe. How quickly can there be destruction.
Reports have it that close to 200 people have died with thousands others missing.
They need support just like Venezuela a few short weeks back needed support when they were hit with back to back earthquakes.
Central America and the Northern tip of South America is a fault zone for earthquakes. This is up for the scientists to deliberate and to assess how the citizenry can observe safety and precautions.
But we can offer our prayers and our voices and hands if need be for Colombians in the midst of their suffering and pain.
