To God, the only God who saves us through Jesus Christ our Lord, be the glory, majesty, authority and power, which he had before time began, now and forever. Jude 25
CPWI 390 We Praise Thee, O God
1 We praise thee, O God, for the Son of thy love,
for Jesus who died, and is now gone above.
Refrain:
Hallelujah! Thine the glory, hallelujah! Amen!
Hallelujah! Thine the glory, revive us again.
2 We praise thee, O God, for thy Spirit of light
who has shown us our Savior and scattered our night.
3 We praise thee, O God, for the joy thou hast giv’n
to thy saints in communion, these foretastes of heav’n.
4 Revive us again, fill each heart with thy love.
May each soul be rekindled with fire from above.
Blessed be the Lord our God
By whose grace we are yet alive.
Blessed be His Son Jesus Christ
By whose rising we are set free.
Blessed the Spirit of God
In whom is our hope and our joy.
O God, the King eternal, whose light divides the day from the night and turns the shadow of death into the morning: Drive far from us all wrong desires, incline our hearts to keep your law, and guide our feet into the way of peace; that, having done your will with cheerfulness during the day, we may, when night comes, rejoice to give you thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
CANTICLE: Jesus Saviour Salvator Mundi
Jesus Saviour of the world, come to us in your mercy;*
we look to you to save and help us.
By your cross and your life laid down you set your people free;*
we look to you to save and help us.
When they were ready to perish you saved your disciples;*
we look to you to come to our help.
In the greatness of your mercy loose us from our chains;”
forgive the sins of your people.
Make yourself known as our Saviour and mighty Deliverer:*
save and help us that we may praise you.
Come now and dwell with us Lord Christ Jesus;” hear our prayer
and be with us always. And when you come in your glory:*
Make us to be one with you, and to share the life of your kingdom.

A READING: 2 Corinthians 5:14 – 21
14 … The love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. 15 And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves but for the one who for their sake died and was raised.
16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once knew Christ from a human point of view, we no longer know him in that way. 17 So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; look, new things have come into being! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. 20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake God made the one who knew no sin to be sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to GOD.
[…Grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ’s Body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith…
St Paul strives to make the point that The Paschal Mystery is at the behest of Almighty God, our heavenly Father himself! It is a Trinitarian initiative. (Jesus was busy breathing the Holy Spirit on everyone, Resur-
rection Night!) We are reconciled, brought into relationship, to be empowered and affirmed in the work of the Kingdom, in the same way as Jesus did; through obedience and discipline. The effort and the tenderness on our behalf, that St Paul details, should encourage all of us to come into our Father’s embrace…
… we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God…]
PRAYERS:
The Lord be with you
And also with you.
As our Saviour has taught us, let us pray
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
V. Save your people, Lord, and bless your inheritance;
R. Govern and uphold them, now and always.
V. Day by day we bless you;
R. We praise your Name for ever.
V. Lord, keep us from all sin today;
R. Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy.
V. Lord, show us your love and mercy;
R. For we put our trust in you.
V. In you, Lord, is our hope;
R. And we shall never hope in vain.
COLLECT Easter, Week. II
Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ’s Body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Almighty and eternal God, sanctify and govern our hearts and bodies in the ways of your laws and the works of your commandments; that under your protection, now and ever, we may be preserved in body and soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
All the way to Calvary, He went for me,
He went for me, He went for me.
All the way to Calvary, He went for me,
and now He sets me free
[ Although I had so many, many sins
Jesus took them all away, and He pardoned me… ] x2
The Dismissal:
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellow-ship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all now and for evermore. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13:14
The Lord be with you
And also with you.
Let us bless the Lord.
Thanks be to God.
