We are coming down to the final stretch of Lent. Next week Friday is “Good Friday,” and then we swing into Easter Sunday. Glory to the Father for giving us his Son, Jesus Christ.
If there is anything about Christianity, you need to believe in it is the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is what the foundation of our belief in Christianity is all about. Not only was Jesus’s birth miraculous, but his death was divine and for our salvation.
You have to believe he died for our sins. How loved are we by God the Father that he would send his only son to die on the cross for us.
I still am in awe that Jesus sacrificed himself for me. That is something that I am forever grateful for. Nobody else could wash away my sins and give me new life.
As we go into the final week of Lent, let us remember that Jesus loved us enough to live, preach and die for us. Amen.
